Álvaro Ortiz ha donado a Kiva Microloans # 26.12.2014
Kiva relies on donations from lenders and others to support their operations. That is, they do not get a % of your lendings, but rather ask you to donate. They have just launched a campaign to raise $600k to support their operations, where each dollar donated is mathed, so here I go.
Álvaro Ortiz ha donado a SSD Fan Control # 27.11.2014
A small donation to support this software that has helped me with my new SSD drive in my old iMac.
I have donated twice to Wikipedia in the past, should do it again in 2014 (not much time left!). Is this the site that I spend most time on? Foundation Reports are amazing (wish that many public administrations provide the same!). Once you look at them, see how they spend the money, etc. you will be much more inclined to donate!
Álvaro Ortiz ha donado a Mozilla - Firefox # 01.09.2004

It slowly started to get supporters while developing a great product. An advocacy campaign was created at spreadfirefox.com. And a crazy idea was proposed: a full page ad in the New York Times crowdfunded with donations to promote the 1.0 version of Firefox.
It just happened. A double page ad with more than 10.000 names of the donors in it.
